Friendships

Rekindle friendships is a good thing. Friendships are forever, they are your support. Friendships are where you can cry, weep and tell your deepest secrets.

Last week June 4-8 I did rekindle friendships with a group of youth that are unbelievable and rich in Christ. It has been a year since I’ve seen them and it was just like yesterday. They came up and talked like it was yesterday.

You see I go with a group every year called Mississippi Nail Benders. This is a mission construction trip and we build churches. We grow every year. We fellowship and meet new people. It is hard work but rewarding because we do this to glorify God then every year we do it again.

God took me as a sinner then showed me his Son and since then it has been wonderful. He started me off with little steps (baby steps) and my steps have increased over the years. You will never have giant steps because you will step out of bounds. Christianity is slow growing; you have to mature to move on. This is what God has done for me. He started me in helping with VBS then to Kids Camp, to MS Nail Benders now in Oct. I will be able to go to Cuba and share my testimony to others.

So keep the friendships close at heart for they will be there when no one else is. Rekindle when you can, meet when you can, trust them always. Share your thoughts to a close friend. This will bless them forever.
